It's good to be in a JC after 4 lenghty years in Bartley Secondary. Well ok here it goes. I was posted to Serangoon JC(SRJC) and I was not really happy with it and wanted to get out of the college ASAP. However after i got an interview from Nanyang JC, I was happy and went for the interview under leadership. However, the world came crushing down when they told me that i was second best out of the 4 people who were shortlisted to appeal under student
council. I was like so furious so I repeatedly went to appeal however the principal, who is my father's friend told me that he does not want to jeopardise me. Moreover, I decided to stay at SRJC. Later i found out that SRJC is not a bad place either. Perhaps it is God's wish that I stay there. hahaha

On the first week when JC opened, I was grouped into OG C7 and there were many people that i do not know. Later I made friends with them and they are actually very nice people. hahha a week later I was grouped in to my Civics Group(CG). 091S24. There were only four boys so we were called the four musketeers. HAHAA.Eventhough only started 2 days of orientation we got to know each other well. Well i hope that the next 2 years in SRJC would be a fruitful one. I pledge to put down all my Secondary sch behaviour and know how to speak to girls properly. I hope that God will guide me and take this as a 2nd chance to learn how to do effective communication.:)

Brother is going for NS

i woke up at 6.00 today coz i need to follow my brother, together with my parents to Pulau Tekong as he is going off for NS. After breakfast we drove to White Sands Shopping Centre and there we saw my father's student who graduated in 2006 Catholic high. Later we went to the bus interchange and the shuttle bus brought us to the jetty. There we took a boat to Tekong Islands. Woah when we reached there bro had to change his IC to a Green one and the 3rd Seargeant showed us the training grounds, bunks. Later we went to the audithorium to see what the recruits were provided. Later we went to the main audithorium to witness the oath ceremony. Later we had lunch at the cook house. Afterwards it was time to bid farewell to bro and we went back to White Sands. I bought a new pair of Nike shoes at SPORTSLINK. I hope that I will not join the SAF when I serve NS and go to HTA instead:)

26th Jan- Chinese New Year Day 1

After eating breakfast, I went to play PES 2009 again and I won , draw and never lost. ehehe. Later we went to Uncle Joe's house to BAI Nian and we sat down and have a chat. Later Auty Iris came and her son, Leon who was formerly in Catholic High came too and we have a chat. Afterwards we had Mee Rebus for lunch and it was quite hot but too bad, must endure the heat. Later cousin Melvyn came with Rebecca. Heather and Hazel were here too but Hazel was sleeping and she went up to the guest room to sleep. i played with Heather after lunch and we played the helicopter outdoors and the helicopter almost flew into the neighbour's house. heng er. Later my distant cousin came too and he was from Queenstown Secondary. It was such a coincidence that MS JANICE YONG and now she has changed her name to MRS JANICE YOK. Now i know what to call her when I e mail her.haha. After a few minutes of chatting and playing with Heather, it was time to go home. However i could not find my camera case when i put it in my bag. Strange er. Not that I am careless but it is really strange that the case gone missing and it really spoiled my day. later we went to Uncle John's house and we chatted. Too bad Samuel, my nephew was not in as he had to follow Faith and Dexter to their in-laws house to Bai Nian. haha. Later we went home After a tiring day. phew.

25th January-Reunion Dinner

After a few mins after I have woken up, we went to AMK to collect our New Year food stuff. We ate our breakfast aka lunch at the NTUC Foodfare and after that we went to Uncle Joe's house to put the items. Later we went home and to prepare for church. After bathing I played Pro Evolution Soccer a while and I won Liverpool 2-1 and drew Man U 1-1. BASKET PAUL SCHOLES. Later i won Fulham 2-1. It was a rather low score but i got all 3 pts in the bad. Later we went to church. The attendance was poor today but the sermon was a meaningful one. After church we went to Uncle Joe's house for reunion dinner. I chatted with cousin Melvyn and asked him many things abt my laptop. It is like so ******* slow and need to have improvements. I played with my nieces too and they are getting prettier and prettier everyday. We had dinner after the Lou Hei session and all the youngsters sat outside to chat. We had an enjoyable time talking. I talked to my distant cousin Kit Fei who is 22 and after many years of 'stranger -ship' we were back to our talking ways. Kah Wai(Kit Fei younger brother) talked to my brother. He is goin to NS on the 28th of Jan and my parents are worried of him as he is quite timid compared to me. Later i played with Heather and Hazel and Heather was very naughty as she rejected a toothbrush given by Aunt Yoke Peng. Being a good Grandmother Aunt Yoke Peng gave her a lecture and she was not too happy abt it. I cooled her down in a funny way. She had to be well controlled or she would be naughty one day and thats bad! haha well later After having some more conversations, we went home to watch the CNY new year show. haha it was rather fun and and enjoyable day for us.:)

22nd Jan-Santosh Gauchan Farewell Dinner

Today I went to City Hall MRT to gather and later we went to Pizza hut in Suntec City to eat. We chatted. Well Santosh was my good friend in School and too bad he is leaving for good on Monday morning. He was very kind and caring and approachable. overall he is a good friend. I will miss him greatly but too bad i cannot come to send him off as I need to go to relative's house to Bai Nian.

Visit Catholic High Primary Sch

Today after my brother taught me A Level maths, I played PES 2009 and i won Canada only 1-0 Tevez scored in the 92nd min. Heng er. then i played the finals against Colombia and the first half I was 3-1 up. After that, it was time to go to CHS and I did not save the game and basket! Must play again when I reach home. haiz. So my brother and I went to the Primary Section and I saw Ms Lom Ong Hong my Primary 3 Chinese teacher. After so long she is still here!!! She treated my brother and I a drink for having the heart to see her. We followed her to the staff room to see the other teachers but majority of them left the sch already:(
After that we went up to Pri 6B and saw my brother's Chinese teacher. She is abt 65 yrs old and she is still strong and her class was the only class that conducts Chinese remedial. Nth new actually. She told her class how gd we were and we told the class that hardwork is the key to sucess! Later we went ard the sch and there were new things like a real life Hornbill!!! Wah. Too bad we were not there to experience the new facilities and have to live and study in the old building. sad. However it is ok. Later I went to the General Office and guess who I saw, KAI YING, she was selling uniform and I said Hi to her! Her IC was asked me whether I wanted to buy a sch U but i said NO! LOL. Later we went to Bishan and went home:)

7th-9th Jan- NYJC Immersion Programme

Hey Long time no see. Haha well after some time. Ok lets begin. from 7th to 9th Jan NYJ organised the NYJC Immersion Programme that enables students to have a better understanding on how a JC life is like. Well on my first day, i went with my brother and i found out that i was posted to a group called Marty 3. haha later we went off for out math lecture and the teacher was actually a former bartleyan and his name was Mr Leong Chong Ming. He was a student under Mrs Koh Shooi Yin a popular Maths teacher in Bartley Secondary School. haha his lecture was interesting as he taught us many things for what must we do in a Lecture. Later we went for a GP lecture and the lecturer made the scary looking GP looks like a very interesting subject to take. i scored some pts for my team and i was the star student of the day:) Later we had our lunch and I chatted with other students from other schools and get to know them. well i am sure that ppl would not wanna listen to my grandmother story so i will pose some pictures of t he programmes

28th December

Today, Dad, mum and I went to Toa Payoh to buy some stuff. In fact we wanted to but some doughnuts for my 2 nieces but the shop closed down. errr. Later we went home and I played Pro Evolution Soccer and I played as Croatia and I thrashed Thailand 5-0. Woah not bad. i played Australia VS Canada and I won 2-0. I was surprised by by skills:) Later we went to church and the sermon was dull and long. Later we went to Aunt Karen's house and Cousin Melvyn, Rebecca(His Wife) and my two nieces Heather and Hazel were there. When we went there Hazel was a little bit shy and kept on crying. Aunt Karen had to go for her CELL Group Dinner ans she went out so we stayed in the house and played with Heather and Hazel. WOah it is since a long time I have seen them and I missed them so much esp my mother. Haha. We had dinner later and i chatted with Melvyn and Rebecca and the whole time it was like so nice. After playing with their children we went home and I continued with my PES 2009:)

Christmas Day

Mary's Boy Child Jesus child Jesus Chirst was born on Christmas Day. Ya thats true and I am very happy to receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Haha. Well today was a very gd and fun day for me and my family. When we woke up at 8am in the morning, after eatingb breakfast we got dressed and prepared to go to church for the Christmas Service. When we got there we proceded to the 2nd floor Santury and luckily for us we got a seat in the 3rd role and thats a very gd place to take photos of the service. Very soon the service began with Aunty Elizabeth started off the service with Joy to the World with the tambourine team dancing gracefully to the music. Later we sang Angels we had heard on high and the Christmas Cantata team sang some beautiful songs. We had a prayer and the sermon started. Haha. The sermon was very interesting and some of the main highlights of the sermon was Hark the Herald Angels Sing in a funny way and y Santa Claus was not as gd as Jesus Christ. Later we sang a few Christmas Songs like Joy to the World, Silent Night and Hark the Herald Angels Sing(This time the proper Version) haha. Later there were some announcement in Foochow and we were like clueless abt it and kept asking dad what was the Pastor TIng talking abt. haha. Later the sercvice ended by a Benediction and Aunty Elizabeth's tambourine with the song Days Of Elijah. woah terrific man i recorder with my camera till the memory card ran out of battery. Later we went to Marine Parade and we had our lunch and we collected some Christmas Stuff and we went home.

At ard 5.30 we got dressed and prepared to go to Aunty Hilda's hse. When we reached there we shook hands with them and we chatted with Josiah and Joel, their sons. Joel was like a twin brother of mine as we had similiar hobbies and we shared the same name too. Later we took a look at their chickens and woah, it was big man. They reared a Turkey too and other curte birds. Later we had dinner and after that, my father, Joel Hong and I played the guitar and we sang some beautiful songs. Woah it was fun. After that, my father, Aunty Hilda and Uncle See Beng sat down to have a chat. In the mean time, I played PS2 and I plated Dynamo Kiev VS Manchester City and I lost 3-2 woah. Uzkekistan striker Maksim Shatskikh scored 2 goals and we watch The Little Nyonya there. After the show I played Porto VS Man u and I drew 1-1. Basket Ryan Giggs scored the equaliser. haiz I played Inter VS Man U and I drew 3-3. WTH I was disallowed 2 goals and i conceded 3 goals in the second half. Haiz in the end i won on away goals rule. haha so Inter has the last Laugh. At 10.45 we went home after wishing them a Blessed Christm as.

Visit to Uncle John's house-19th Dec 2008

Well, today after I have eaten breakfast, We went straight to Toa Payoh to change my mother's blouse. Since i am not into woman's stuff i stood aside and read the TODAY Newspaper. Later we went to AMK to collect some Christmas Stuff and it took us some time as we had to wait and buy some things. Later we went home and put all the things back home. I got my nephew present and some other food stuff for my uncle and aunt and we went to IMM in Jurong East. Woah it has been a yr since i have been there and the place does not seem to change at all except the Giant.

Well later we set off to to Uncle John's hse and i was the navigator. lolz the whole place was umfamiliar as we had to go to Jurong West and after a 30min drive we finally arrived. The place was a condo and we had a pleasant time talking to Uncle John and Aunty Lily and playing with Samuel, my 4 yr okd nephew. I helped him fix his Christmas present and he was excited abt it as he was a great fan of motor toys. After a great chat and watchin the little Nyonya, we said good bye and went home at 11pm woah wat a tiring day for us. haah

Combine Fellowship on the 14th December

Today was special day for us as there was a combine worship Service for the English Tamil and Myanmar Service. It was a special one as the previous ones were just performances by all the 3 congregations. However now it was a service so the preacher came. After singing a few songs and carols. The songs we sang were Silent Night, Joy to the World, Joyful Joyful we adore Thee, All Hail the Power of Jesus Name and Hallelujah to the Lamb. All of the songs were nice and gd. My father, btother and I were singing infront of Santury with some members from the Tamil Service and Burmese service. Haha. After that Rev Choi said a pastoral prayer and we had a ' Shaking Hands Greeting' with the other members. Later the preacher delivered his sermon. A dry, boring but a meaningful one. haha The message was simple. After that we sang the Response song, I know Who I Have Believed and later it was the time for offerring. Our whole family carried the offering bag as we went to different Pils in the santury as the members gave their offering to God. Later Senior Pastor Rev Ho gave the Benediction in Chinese followed by English and we went down for dinner.

During dinner we we chatted with the Tamil members. Later I went to chat with my school mate, Pau Mun Khai's brother Khup Mun and he was very sociable. However I also made friends with Myanmese, jessica who was also a student and she was an N Level Student. I wished her all the best. There was another girl but i forgot her name. Haha. Later we took some photos and we went home after a sumptous dinner,

Baptism Class

Well today was a very special day. At 1.30 my brother and I went to church for baptism class conducted by the pastor Rev Gideon Choi. We went up to room 309 and there were many ppl in the room who are ready to be confirmed as members of the church. However many were from the 8am and 9.45 service so we do not know each other that well. Haha. The class began when Rev Choi asked us to introduced ourselves. However when it came to my turn, I introduced myself as a member who attends the 4.30 service and served in the Worship ministry as a drummer. I continued by adding that my great-grandfather was the pastor of this church and he was the longest serving pastor. Well after that we started, it was rather interesting as the pastor really enticed us into getting to know Christ deeper. Well it can get boring at times if there is no laughter. The class lasted for 3hrs. Later Mum and Dad picked us up and we went to Jalan Jalan along Little India. Woah the things there are rather cheap. After buying a little things we drove to Suntec City and ate out dinner. Well after that we went to Carrefour and bot some things. Later we drove back home. Phew wat a tiring day for us. haha

KL Perak Trip

Today we went to KL for a short holiday. At the same time we went there to visit my uncle(Joseph). He is working as a diplomat there and he was very hospitable and kind towards us we. We went to many interesting places and bot lots of things including my NIKE MERSURIAL SOCCER BOOTS. haha its not the latest Pink Coloured soccer boots but the lasted colour of blue and yellow.(Yellow for the Nike Tick). haha well. the next day30th Nov we went up to Perak to visit my distant Uncle there. They were very kind too. However, my distant uncle brought us up to Taiping and the journey was like 2 damn hours man. soooo boring and the whole time he talked to Uncle Joseph in Hokkien. i imagine talking for 2 hrs non stop. During the journey I took some pictures of lush greenery. Although it was boring, the journey was a fruitful one but i failed to capture the tropical mangrove forest man all the prop roots and stuff. lolz. anyway when we went there we went to visit Grand Aunt. She speaks Foochow and the whole time I was like so bored but at the same time i heard stories from dad that she was a brilliant prayer warrior. That was great stuff. After some chatting in a foriegn dialect for 1 hr, we decided to return to Setiawan for dinner. wah 2 hrs again man. haha At night we drove back to KL and the trip was very dangerous. For the whole 3 hrs i kept awake as the whole stretch of road was total darkness and there were no street lamps and we have to depend on the car headlights. Halfway through the journey our car rolled over 4 goats lying in the middle of the road thinking its their grandfather's road. Too bad as in the dark we rolled over all 4 of them hehe. no laughing matter as they were a whole family. I felt so so bad for them.

We stayed at my uncle;s hse for almost a wk and we went to many places like the pavillion in Bukit Bintang the most posh shopping centre in KL. The place was nice but the price tag of the goods was not nice at all man. hehe. haiyo then there was a time when we wanted to go to Subang Jaya but the damn taxi driver changed his mind to charge us RM 30 to RM 35. We stomped out of the taxi after 15 metres travelling man. basketball. We changed another taxi and he charged us RM 25 soooo much better after all. lolz. haiz anough typing. the trip was indeed a fruitful one

Guess Who I Saw

Guess who I saw today? Well today I went to NTUC in Serangoon Garden, I saw the infamous Chew Chor Meng. Wah he was like buying groceries with his 2 daughters. lolz i was like damn surprised la. His voice was like damn different. So after that, when he paid for the items he went to Mr Bean to buy some beancurd for his 2 daughters. When i was going up the life then he was also there. Then he went into the lift with me and we chatted a little while. His most famous Drama was the Golden Path. After we reached the car park. We said our goodbyes before he put his groceries into the car and then got back down to fetch his wife. hehee
